3 Ways to Find Great Books
Want to find some great books for your child? Here are 3 proven ways of finding the right book for your young reader.

1. Browse the shelves
Browsing library shelves is always a fun, cool summer activity. My aunt, a children’s librarian, claims that kids have a knack for choosing the books just right for them. So let them grab as many as they can carry and start reading.
2. Find books online
When time is tight, you may want to select books in advance using online resources (check out our Ultimate Book List for Children and Young Adults). In many cases, if you place a request on your library’s website, the librarian will have your selection ready and waiting for check-out the next day.
3. Find similar books
If you find an author that appeals to your child, get more of his or her books. If you run out of titles, try locating the book on Amazon. Then scroll through the “Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought” section to find similar stories.
