Thank you for checking on us. My son is doing extremely well with Rebecca’s help. She goes over his assignments and helps him study for tests. The individual attention is having the results we hoped for. His Spanish grade has gone from a D to a high B. Most importantly he doesn’t consider Spanish to be an overwhelming subject. He has to take at least two years to meet his graduation requirements so this is giving a strong foundation for next year as well. Laurie S.

We were ecstatic when we got the test results yesterday! Our daughter had taken the test on two previous occasions and failed both times. Previous tutors were not able to help her pass, but your tutor is incredibly intelligent and able to see math problems from many different angles. More importantly, Michael was able to open her mind up to see and understand all of those perspectives and give her strategies for how to take tests and be confident. Things are going very well with our tutor; my daughter got an A in her math class and she is very happy that she has Amit to help her clarify many of the more complicated concepts. Josh had a surprise quiz in chemistry today. He got 100%. He also answered the bonus question correctly, something very few kids do. He said the reason he did so well is that the quiz was on material that his tutor showed him how to do something that helped him get that bonus question right as well as all the other questions right. I can’t express in words how happy we are with the progress that Michael has made since you began tutoring him. My husband and I went to the most recent IEP in March and his teacher was very impressed and pleased with his progress. I wish I had know of you earlier. Victor has had 2 tests since Barry came out. On the first test, he got a “D” and Victor was mad at himself because he “knew” the material, it was careless mistakes. Actually, he had been flunking his tests so this was an improvement. On yesterday’s test, Victor received an “A”. A.P.

Still don’t have the final grades in yet, but Nikole thinks she might have brought it up to a B. We will most likely continue next year, not just for our daughter, but also our son. Hoang was GREAT! He was really nice and helped Charlotte. From the times I was “listening in,” he gave our daughter the “BIG” picture … like “Trig is all about triangles”. Kristin had 3 sessions with Joon prior to her physics final. He was just great with her. He explained everything so she could understand it and he made it relate to real life. He also gave me a full report after each session. She is so thrilled as she scored a 90 on the state’s physics assessment. She also did well on her final and ended up with an A in physics.
